Job Summary:
As a Mobile Developer, you'll be working alongside an agile mobile team, focusing on React Native app development. Building a companion app to our flagship product Brightspace that's in the hands of millions of students daily, advancing our goal of using technology to transform teaching and learning around the world.
Major Responsibilities (How Will I Make an Impact?):
- Help shape the direction of our mobile experience, you will be responsible for leading the development of mobile apps that deliver exceptional user experiences.
- You will also have the opportunity to mentor and lead other developers, sharing your knowledge and experience to help the team grow.
Competencies (What you’ll bring to the role):
- A good understanding of mobile UX/UI design patterns (such as Apple's design principles)
- Experience developing apps which are reliable, secure, and performant
- Demonstrated ability to write unit tests and code that can be easily tested
- Familiarity with technologies like Firebase, GraphQL, Node.js, Gradle, Terraform, AWS
- Proficiency in developing mobile applications using either native or cross-platform frameworks

- Bachelor' degree in computer science, computer engineering or similar technical discipline
- A strong technical foundation, demonstrated ability to learn and a passion for technology
