LONDON, UK – 22nd April 2021 – D2L, a global learning technology leader, today announced that the CIPD, the professional body for HR and people development, has selected Brightspace as the learning platform to provide expanded online learning and development options for people professionals worldwide.
The CIPD Learning Hub will make the CIPD’s world-class learning provision more accessible than ever to a wider range of learners and support them to embed the international standard for the people profession into their day-to-day practice. Designed to help individuals and their teams maximise organisational impact and career potential, it’s an important element in the CIPD’s commitment to champion better work and working lives.
The tender process began in February 2020 and D2L was selected in September. CIPD believed D2L and Brightspace would be a good culture fit for CIPD and its learning aims. Learning analytics and personalised learning pathways also played a key role in CIPD’s decision.
