Your Facilitators

  • Shayne Fogle is a Senior Instructional Designer at D2L and has a passion for learning and education. She has designed courses for a variety of subjects and audiences and has presented widely on topics related to education and implementation of educational technology. She previously worked as an instructor, curriculum developer, instructional designer, and team lead at a number of post-secondary institutions in Ontario, Canada. This experience has allowed her to become very knowledgeable on best practices for online instruction and course design, as well as acquire an in-depth understanding of how Brightspace, can be used to implement these practices. Her interests include creating inclusive and innovative learning environments through multiple means to engage all learners, and she holds a Master of Science in Education and a Certificate in Instructional Design.

  • Shereen Seoudi Headshot

    Shereen Seoudi is a Senior Instructional Designer at D2L and a passionate educator. She holds a Master of Education in Language and Literacies Education, an adult teaching certificate, and a B.Sc. in Chemistry. She has also completed a certificate in Instructional Design. Shereen has been involved in a wide range of educational and training projects and has extensive experience in adult teaching and curriculum development for different models of learning. She presents and publishes regularly on a variety of topics related to teaching, learning, and digital pedagogies. In her daily work, Shereen strives to enhance the learner experience by using technology to create high-quality, engaging opportunities for all learners.

  • Joey Stapleton headshot

    Joey is a Senior Instructional Designer on D2L’s Learning Solutions team. He has experience developing learning material for corporate, post-secondary, and K-12 audiences. Joey is currently supporting the launch of Creator+ by researching new instructional design solutions and maintaining best practices for Creator+ users.

  • Joanne Struch headshot

    Joanne has 15+ years of experience in the development and delivery of learning programs including as a senior leader responsible for strategic program development in vocational and skills education. As a Learning Strategy Consultant at D2L, she works with organizations To develop and articulate plans to align organizational goals with learning and development practices. Joanne is also a Prosci© certified Change Management Practitioner.
